Trinity Dental Practice continues to follow guidance issued by The Scottish Government and the Chief Dental Officer to try and limit the spread of COVID-19.
Following the statement issued on the 18th June that Scotland is moving to Phase 2, we will be re-opening on a very limited basis from Monday 22nd June 2020.
During Phase 2 we are only allowed to see patients who require emergency treatment and are still unable to provide any treatment which would involve the use of a drill or anything else which creates an aerosol.
The practice will remain locked and only patients who have been triaged and appointed by telephone will be allowed entry into the building. At this stage we are limited to one patient in the building at a time. All previously scheduled routine appointments continue to be postponed.
We at Trinity understand the difficulty that this will cause to all of our patients but the health of patients, staff and the wider community must be the priority at this stage to minimise the spread of COVID-19.
We have a robust system in place to offer advice to patients who feel they may require urgent care. Please call the Practice on 01343 542697 in the first instance and further advice will be given.
Treatment hubs have been put in place by Grampian Health Board to treat patients who are designated as needing aerosol generating procedures e.g. drilling. Patients falling into this catagory will need to be referred to the COVID hub for treatment.
At this very difficult time for all of us we ask you to be understanding as we endeavour to provide the best care and advice which we can in the circumstances.
Please follow all the guidance issued by The Scottish and UK Governments, stay safe and we look forward to resuming normal service at the earliest opportunity.
Regards and best wishes fron The Team at Trinity
